I'm Siyuan Chen. This is my project two.The design of my project is about presenting the data of the Toronto area through a Bivariate Data Map. It can display the rain situation in the Toronto area in a 3D way, and also present various data of the Toronto area, showing the crime rate and the cool places with air conditioning in a clearer way.

Spatial Workshop 1

In the first workshop activity, my group and I went to shoot three distinctive campus spaces. The first one is the corridor within the campus, a place that students have to pass through when going to and from classes. It has a narrow structure and a strong sense of direction, which gives people a fast-paced feeling.<a href='https://www.youtube.com/embed/tgbNymZ7vqY' target='_blank'><p>Project Video Link</p></a> In the first workshop activity, my group and I went to shoot three distinctive campus spaces. The second picture shows a corridor connecting two teaching buildings. It is decorated with stones and is suitable for people to sit and relax during breaks. It is a great space for rest and relaxation. I really like its spaciousness, which gives a sense of relaxation. <div class='container'><iframe class='responsive-iframe' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/tgbNymZ7vqY'></iframe></div> In the first workshop activity, my group and I went to shoot three distinctive campus spaces. The third space is a corner of a staircase, bathed in natural light. It is a passageway for people, but some people like this space because of its tranquility and naturalness, and they are willing to use it as a place to rest and gather with friends when no one is around.

The first one is that I hope to add tables to the corridor, changing the original two-way passage into a one-way one. My aim is to add tables in the corridor to provide a place for people to rest outdoors.<div class='container'><iframe class='responsive-iframe' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/tgbNymZ7vqY'></iframe></div> This is my idea for adding some elements to the selected space in Workshop 2. Final Project 2 Design

This is my final design. I chose the area of Toronto. Two datasets were respectively selected: "Neighbourhood Crime Rates" and "Air Conditioned and Cool Spaces". I utilized a 3D perspective and dots to respectively represent these two sets of data.
